Blavity.com today reports on Dwight Moore, the nation’s newest academic all-star who recently earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT.
The sophomore at Christian Brothers High School in Memphis is now a part of a statistical miracle class of ACT takers who have achieved a perfect score – about .076 of students achieved the score in 2014. From Blavity:
Moore told LocalMemphis‘s Austin Lewis that he thought that his score was a mistake. “I sat there in shock for a second. There is no way this is right. It didn’t have the writing score so I thought this was just a placeholder for later so I am not getting my hopes up; when the writing score came out too, I actually got a 36,” said Moore.
