NCCU Student Returns to Class After Shooting

North Carolina Central University student Tiara Little has returned to class three weeks after she was shot near campus.  Little was wounded in her lower back when a gunman sprayed bullets into the car she was a passenger in.
The gunfire erupted just one block NCCU’s Mary M. Townes Science Building January 22nd.  Little, a junior from Texas, was driven to the Student Union on campus where university police were called for help.  Three other people in the car with Little were not injured.
“I’m currently recovering and doing great,” said Little.
