Highlighted by SCSU’s Javon Hargrave (3rd round, 94th overall, Pittsburgh Steelers), NCCU’s Ryan Smith (4th round, 108th overall, Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and SCSU’s Temarrick Hemingway (6th round, 177th overall, Los Angeles Rams), eight other individuals from SWAC and MEAC football teams were offered free agent contracts, including:
