Concern Grows Over Possible Arson at Abandoned Knoxville Campus

Alumni are concerned about a series of fires being set near and around abandoned facilities at Knoxville College.
A management team handling affairs with the school, which closed last year after decades of accreditation issues and falling enrollment, is working to sell or develop parts of the campus for commercial use, and to one day reopen some buildings for instruction.

  1. Here is a thought, since most state governments are always trying to merge HBCUs with other schools, why not merge Knoxville College with Tennessee State University or Lane College. Hmmm, that would allow more resources and support for a school trying to survive and not miss out on funding because of its size.
